For Cameron Bedell, what strikes a chord the most about Butler is the freedom to pursue all his dreams. Cameron believes he’s experiencing something at Butler that he wouldn’t get from other institutes of higher learning – opportunity that comes from personal relationships.

“I have more opportunity here than I could ever have at another college,” he claims. “I have formed close relationships, even with my teachers. They actually know my first name. And, now, I don’t want to let them down.”

That interaction is powerful to Cameron. His instructors give him more than just lessons in class. They provide lessons in life. To Cameron, that makes them more than just subjects.

Entering his second year, Cameron is composing his own future at Butler. Last year, the Butler Headliners performed one of Cameron’s songs during a vocal concert. Not a bad arrangement for a college freshman.

“I don’t think all this would have happened as easy, or at all, anywhere else,” Cameron said. “People really don’t understand what happens at Butler. We’re a tight school. We’re amazing. Everyone is making something out of themselves.”

Cameron has noticed that everyone is sort of a blur at the larger universities. At Butler, we put you in focus. And that’s enough to have everyone singing the praises of a powerful education.

Setting inspiration and learning in harmony. For Cameron, that’s the power of Butler.
