Knowing that a picture can be worth 1,000 words, Jamie tells her unique story by capturing the world around her. Her two mission photography deployments in South Asia immortalized the service of selfless heroes who humbly put others first. That was a powerful experience for this veteran shutterbug. Who knows, perhaps that’s why Jamie has an even stronger passion for her lifelong dream to inspire others through one of the greatest service professions of all – teaching.

With a Marine father, Army brother and a grandpa in the Navy, Jamie says she’s always valued and respected the ability to help and serve others. Maybe that’s why she’s picturing herself at the front of a classroom, teaching others how to make their passions click with reality.
