Justin McClure, a former Butler baseball utility player and owner of JustinMcClure.TV, has put his fingerprints on brand work for Disney Channel, Dell, Sprint, SYFY Channel, Discovery Channel, CMT, EA Sports and sports graphics for Major League Baseball. Looking back, Justin credits Butler’s facilities and faculty with granting him a strong foundation in art and encouraging him to pursue computer assisted graphic design after Butler.
After college, Justin began his career as an art director at Leo Burnett in Chicago while taking on freelance projects in his spare time. After seven years in the world of ad agencies, he took a post with CMT in Nashville, working on motion graphics for broadcast television, all while balancing his ever-increasing freelance work.
Now back in Wichita, Justin has worked with Butler’s Foundation to establish a pair of endowed scholarships – one to benefit future visual arts students, another to be awarded to a walk-on baseball player.
"If I can offer a student a mere fraction of what Butler provided me, I'll consider my contribution a success."
